DIY Chalkboard

I went on my mission trip to Mexico last week, and we had to raise money for the City of Children so we had a yard sale. I ended up finding a few things that I thought had great potential to be repurposed so I bought them. Here's how I repurposed this wood board that I found:

Here's the before:
I took my chalk board paint and painted about 4 coats onto this wood board. (Chalkboard paint is really thin)
I let the paint dry, and then I rubbed chalk onto the board.
I used my hand to rub the chalk in more.
I got a wet paper towel to wipe it down.
Then I got a dry paper towel to dry it off.
 Here's the after:
I hope that y'all enjoyed!

Thank Y'all for Reading,
Lindsey
