Antique Book Makeovers

My books love their new home on my ladder bookcase. I found some antique Mark Twain books that I fell in love with a couple of weeks ago, but I thought that they needed a little makeover.

 Supplies:
Annie Sloan Chalk in Old White and French Linen
Adhesive Keys from Paper Source
Annie Sloan Clear Wax and Wax Brush
Paint Brush

 I decided that I wanted to chalk paint 2 of the books and leave the other 2 normal.

 I gave the books a coat of the old white

 and then followed with a coat of french linen.

 I added the keys from Paper Source.

I then coated the books that I chalk painted with a coat of Annie Sloan's Clear Wax.

Here's the finished product!
